New Skirt/Leggings

My first pair of leggings! I've been wanting to yet afraid to buy a pair for quite some time now, because I didn't want to fall into the trap of wearing the "leggings as pants" look (which I find a bit ho-ish unless the shirt is REALLLLY long)

So yah. I finally bought a pair. And I'm not wearing them as pants! 

And I love my new skirt. The pockets are so cute! 

EFS 60mm

Well, it's finally happened. I have met the love of my life. Only thing is its not a boy. Or a girl. Its not even human. I am speaking of cannon's EFS 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens. How do I love this lens? Let me count the ways...

When I first got it, I of course instantly leapt into macro, and took pictures of the smallest things I could find, and got as close to them as I possibly could. The lens of course did beautifully. So beautifully, that I started carrying it around as an all purpose lens. The crispness and colors it produced were unparalleled. As I began using it more and more, I realized what a marvelous portrait lens it was. Portraits come at with little to no distortion, and a wonderful intimacy with the subject. I am so pleased with this lens, I just cant stop gushing! Here are some photos I feel illustrate what I love the most about it.
